Telemedicine

Given the current COVID environment and our strong desire to help our patients in every way possible, UCC offers Telemedicine appointments for our patients.  With Telemedicine patients will experience a complete clinic visit and have all of their questions answered by phone without the need to come to our center in person. After a telemedicine appointment is scheduled with our office the patient will be contacted by Dr. Nordquist or a Nurse Practitioner to conduct their appointment. This can avoid unnecessary travel and lost time.

Who is a Candidate for a Telemedicine Visit?

Not all patient visits will be a candidate for a telemedicine visit. If for example, you are acutely ill, on treatment, or have imaging scans to review that may require an in-person visit.

Telemedicine visits are ideal for patients who are not sick, have no new issues, and/or if you have to travel a distance to our clinic. One of our healthcare team members will notify you ahead of time if you are a candidate for a telemedicine visit.

Since the COVID outbreak approximately 10-20% of our patient visits have been conducted by telemedicine appointments.

You will always have the option to refuse a telemedicine visit if you prefer to see us in person.

Contact our office by calling 402-991-8468 for questions or if you need to schedule or reschedule your Telemedicine appointment.

Attention:
Telemedicine appointments are NOT for emergency purposes. If you have a medical emergency, please call 911.
