XCancerOmaha has a certified clinical laboratory onsite that provides accurate and rapid results. Such efficiencies allow our patients to safely receive treatments without delays and patients can have a PSA drawn and discuss the results 30 min later.  

Our lab is managed by a board-certified medical technologist. It is licensed by the state of Nebraska and certified by the College of American Pathologist (CAP), as well as the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA).

Over 11,000 lab specimens are analyzed per year at our center including: CBC, PSA, testosterone, creatinine, & Urinalysis.

Genetic Mutation Analysis (Next Generation Sequencing):  Newer technology today allows cancer tissue to be tested for specific mutations that could lead to more effective treatment options. Our clinical team may suggest a sample of your tumor be analyzed to determine which mutations caused your cancer. This knowledge could lead to treatments that are specific to your cancer. If this is recommended we take care of obtaining your tissues, sending it to the appropriate company for analysis, and help minimize any financial costs for the testing.
